Can I rent a boat if I have no boating experience?
Yes, we will give you brief safety overview of how to operate the vessel. If you are not comfortable operating the boat yourself, we do offer captain services for an additional fee.
How early do I need to arrive prior to launch?
We ask to arrive at least 30min prior to find parking and go over any safety instructions. We highly recommend arriving at least an hour on major holidays and busy weekends as State Parks do reach capacity and do not allow any entrances and you would be forced to park outside of the state park and walk from there. If you are late, your loss of time is NOT refundable.
Where do we meet for departure?
You will have to meet us at the boat launch in order to board any boat.
Do I need a boating license?
In California, renters are not required to obtain a boating license but it is preferred.
Is there an age limit to rent a boat?
Yes, you must be 25 years of age or older to rent a boat.
Is fishing allowed on the boats?
Fishing is allowed on the bow riders but it is not allowed on the pontoons.
Is beaching the boats allowed?
Beaching is not allowed. Beaching can cause damage to the boat and/or propeller. We ask to stay away at least 100ft from shorelines.
Can we anchor the boat?
Definitely, you can anchor the boat to hang out, fish, or swim. We recommend anchoring in the no wake zone that way you are away from oncoming traffic that are going at high speeds.
Is there a speed limit in the waterways?
Yes, the max speed limit is 35 mph and 5 mph in the no wake zones.
What if we have a problem while we are out on the water?
By meticulously maintaining our rental fleet and providing you with all the necessary safety equipment, we do all we can to minimize the possibility of any problem occurring. However, if you do encounter an issue that is not life threatening, involving your rented boat during the rental period, please call us right away, at any time. 909-900-4346

Do you need a credit card to rent a boat?
Yes, you need a credit card in order to rent from us. Renter must be present with card and ID at time of launch.
Do I need to make a reservation? How far in advance do I need to book.
Yes, to ensure availability reservations are required and must be made with no less than 24hrs in advance.

Do you offer delivery and pick up?
Yes! For your convenience and safety we offer free delivery to the dock and pick up. All you have to do is show up and board the boat!
Is a deposit required?
Yes, we ask for a $500 damage deposit. We will refund this deposit once you have returned the rental boat free of any damages.
Do you charge for fuel?
No, we do not charge for fuel on any boats. Each boat will come with a full tank prior to launching.
What is your cancellation/refund policy?
If you cancel your reservation at least 72 hours in advance, you will receive a full refund. Otherwise, you will not receive a refund.

Are dogs or pets allowed on your boats?
We know how important it is to have your pet come along with you but unfortunately we do not allow any pets or dogs on our vessels. Our sincerest apologies.
What do I do when it’s time to come in at the end of my rental?
We ask our guest to get as close to the dock as possible in order for us to take hold of the vessel and dock it to unload you and your guest as safely as possible.
Is there a late fee if we return the boat later than our required time?
We kindly ask you to arrive at the given return time to allow prep for the next group to board. Late fees will be applied. We do offer a 10min grace period after that $20/min.
Is food and drinks/alcohol allowed?
Yes, we allow food and drinks/alcohol on our boats. By California law, operator of the vessel is not allowed to consume any alcohol. Violation of this policy will terminate rental with no refund.
